P1's PRESIDENT SPEAKS ON PANEL AND SPONSORS GENERAL SESSION AT P32024
P1 Consulting was honored to sponsor The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships‘ 2024 Conference’s third General Session entitled: “Getting Bendy with It: The Pressing Need for a New Agility in P3s.” P1’s President, Louise Panneton, had the privilege of speaking on the panel, contributing her insights on the evolving demands of agility in P3 projects.
The panel explored:
– What aspects of traditional P3s should be maintained and what needs to change as Canada’s P3 sector evolves.
– How to build more flexible P3 contracts – such as how a focus on a project’s specific objectives can improve collaboration between project partners when challenges arise.
Osgoode Hall Law School
Louise was invited to be a member of the Faculty for the Osgoode Certificate in Public-Private Partnership which was held in April 2016. Her session was on “The Role of the Fairness Monitor”.
International Facilities Management Association (IFMA)
Louise Panneton has been invited to join the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) Board of Directors. This is a very exciting time for IFMA who has joined forces with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to provide support, training and certification of professionals in the facilities field. Louise looks forward to contributing to the Board by sharing her experience in outsourcing and public-private partners.
National Capital Commission (NCC)
On April 28th, 2016 the National Capital Commission (NCC) Board of Directors announced, via a public meeting, the highest ranked Proponent with whom they will enter into negotiations with on the Redevelopment of LeBreton Flats project. P1 Consulting was present as Fairness Monitor on the project, and were delighted to hear the numerous positive comments from Board members related to the integrity of the process.

Louise Panneton was a delegate at the JIE CSCE BSE Engineers Conference 2015 in Jamaica in September 2015, and spoke in a panel of experts on the “Ontario PPP Experience”.
